Ms.
Johnson,
I found
your site very informative. Right now My husband and myself are at
war
with CPS in Oklahoma. My daughter (his stepdaughter) accused her dad of
sexual
abuse. When she disclosed it to me I made a few phone calls about
what
I should do. My daughter is 9yrs old and she has been making false
accusations
since she was about 4. All she thinks that will happen is her
mommy
and daddy will get into trouble. The old accusations were physical
abuse.
This the first time she has said anything of the sexual nature. The
investigation
the CW did was very biased and she didn't even do the
investigation
right.
My
husband has had criminal charges brought against him. The children (3)
were
allowed to stay with me. After he was bonded out of jail they took the
kids
from me. They said since I dont believe my daughter is telling the
truth
I can't protect her. I didn't think they could do that. But I found out
that
they can. So that is basically why I am writing this email. If you
print
it
we
can warn any non-offending parent that if they dont believe in the abuse
but
still promise to keep the alleged abuser away they can still lose their
kids.
They threatened me that they would take my kids if I didn't help
them.
I said
you can't do that but I was wrong. Now I will not be able to get my
kids
back until after the criminal case is settled.
Any
information on helping the non-abuser parent deal with what could
happen
and ways to help her or him deal with it would be nice to see.
Thank
you,
