must have a physical examination.
Not all courts agree with this statement. RATIONALE: The child would be retraumatized. There is sure to be a dispute within the medical community regarding the courts' position: doctors likely come to their own defense by saying they're taught how to examine children without traumatizing them. Some psychologists say "should have" instead of "must." |
